Welcome to No Arguments-A Forum for Picks

Everyone likes to make sports picks on internet forums. But as anyone with any experience will tell you, there are lots of arguments about what picks or records are legitimate or not. We don't think it has to be this way. We've come up with a standardized grading system that is designed to eliminate this kind of controversy. Here are the rules:

1) Each play posted should contain the selection, the odds used for grading purposes, and whether the betsize is for 1, 2 or 3 units. Play will be to risk X units in the case of an underdog or to win X units in the case of a favourite. If no number of units are specified then the default betsize is 1 unit.

2) The odds used for the selection should be the current odds posted by Pinnacle Sports ( at the time the selection is posted. This is very important. In the case of any dispute, the official source to determine what these odds are will be the Don Best Lines History Archive (

3) One thread per poster per sport for the entire history of the poster. Posters can feel free to breakdown their record in any way they see fit (for example, by season) but anytime a poster wants to report their record is it must encompass the poster's entire history.

4) Records should be given in the following format: Total Units Risked, Total Units Profit/Loss, and ROI (return on investment expressed as a percentage, or Profit/Loss divided by Units Risked)

While we've tried to make these rules as simple and airtight as possible, we understand situations might come up that will require some kind of a judgment call on our part. We will deal with these on a case-by-case basis at our own discretion, including cases where we feel a poster is deliberately going against the spirit of the rules.

No arguments!
