Default Fezzik "Bet Like A Pro" (BLAP) record

This tally is taken from the past-posted selections posted on the Pregame.com forum.

Summary: W/L 224-181-6, +24.865u.

June was the third straight month that BLAP lost units.

Half of the units of profit since inception have come from the five 3 unit plays.

Overall breakeven bet size is $227, meaning that customers betting the minimum nominal of $220 have lost money overall

Default Characteristics of the BLAP record

I posted this in response to a question from Jon in Oakland in the General Forum:

Obviously the BLAP selections don't have the credibility of a system like RAS' release of picks near game time or the previous Fezzik system of LVA forum release. Further, there are so few followers/customers, it is unlikely that they would provide any realistic watchdog capability. There have been several mistakes in the original picks update thread and no one complained (I reported them in a thread at EOG). There is also the troubling contradiction of the 3 LVA-release SB winners being used at Pregame, but the LVA losing SB props didn't get used. Fezzik has been date-stamping bets made several days in advance, but with no time of day, its really not be possible to make sure the line was available. Also the BLAP definition of availability requires the customer to have multiple Nevada and offshore outs.

Of course, the consistent behavior of RJ Bell to hide and obfuscate Fezzik's long term record means that any records posted at Pregame are very suspect.

That said, as long as the BLAP record stays relatively profitable, it probably reflects most of the picks. Their availability remains suspect as Fezzik has always danced tenuously on that fence.

Default Question I posed for Fezzik at pregame.com

I registered at Pregame.com to pose the following questions about the posted selections:

Fezzik:

Question about several selections, I'm assuming a moneyline of -110 is used unless one is explicitly noted. Assuming a 1 wgt at -110 risks 1.1units, etc..

The following posts seem to have inconsistencies between the weight, ML, and amount won/loss. Can you comment?

2/20/2013 Wednesday Regular Vandy 11.5 CBB Side 1 W 2

3/19/2013 Tuesday Regular OKC -5 -115 NBA Side 1h 1 L -1.1

3/31/2013 Sunday NCAA tourney Duke 4 -115 CBB Side 2 L -2.2

6/21/2013 Friday Regular Mystics 84 wnba 1 l -1

_____________________________________

2/20/2013 Should be 1 W 1? or a 2 W 2?

3/19/2013 Should be 1 L -1.15?

3/31/2013 Should be 2 L -2.3?

6/21/2013 Should be 1 l -1.1?

I doubt Pregame would reply, but I would be interested in hearing why there was a discrepancy between the BLAP and LVA Super Bowl picks, and why Fezzik and Johnny Detroit gave widely varied answers on the topic regarding when BLAP started.

Default Results for August 2013

Lots of 1st and 2nd half bets, one live wagering bet counted as a W, but was a zero weight.

W/L/T 41-48-3, 46.07%, -13.120u

To be clear, this is *after* using all the tout tricks in the book. I.e. cherry-picking a starting point, past-posting plays, posting numbers after the line move, using numbers that are either completely unavailable or only available at books that take $50 bets, etc. Right???

It's just amazing that his "ROI" is still <2%.
