Not a typo. To see more clearly, consider the 5 wgt or higher unweighted record is 1-3, -16.4u.

I was confused by that too. So in the line PC quoted from the record, the percentage is unweighted, but the units are weighted? I was under the impression that the unweighted units were all one unit per play, so if the 5 weight or higher did poorly, the unweighted record would be better than the weighted.

The percentage is defined as W/(W+L), and can be applied to a weighted or unweighted record.

An unweighted record is just an artificial enumeration (i.e. counting each as 1) of W/L for a set of plays.

Whenever units are listed for a subset, they are actual net units.

Indeed, in the line PC quoted, the higher weights did poorly and so the unweighted record is much better than the weighted (which I didn't give).

Misleading. You should cite that the units won or lost is, for the subset, weighted.

Reread my post. All units quoted are weighted.

Understood I'm not questioning the accuracy of the computation but, rather, for clarity and readability I think you should note that in the header. Example:

Subsets (all units quoted are weighted):

At least he was honest about bringing his A game.

Just a helpful reminder to ComptrBob in case he doesn't check the CFB forum regularly that Fezzik released a 3 weight CFB play this weekend. Surely that distraction was the cause of his poor performance this weekend.
